Role Purpose

This role provides essential logistical and administrative support to the Teaching Operations team, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily teaching activities. Working closely with teaching staff and operational and customer services colleagues, you will help prepare teaching spaces, manage materials and equipment logistics, and support routine operational tasks that contribute to a highquality learner and teacher experience.

Reporting to the Teaching Operations Manager you will play a key role in maintaining readiness and responsiveness within the teaching environment. Through a proactive, detailfocused approach, the role supports operational continuity, effective use of teaching spaces and resources, and the consistent application of British Council standards, safeguarding and health and safety requirements.

Role Accountabilities

You will support learner experience by receiving and responding to routine enquiries, recognising when issues require escalation and proactively alerting team leaders to incidents or risks that may impact delivery or safeguarding. You will support the monitoring of young learner movement during classes, contribute to a safe and wellmanaged learning environment, and provide administrative support in line with agreed procedures to maximise quality, consistency and efficiency.

You will deliver logistical and administrative support for teaching delivery and related activities, including classroom setup in line with British Council standards, equipment checks, basic troubleshooting and liaison with IT and Business Operations teams. You will maintain accurate records, support general office administration, assist with stock and resource monitoring, coordinate deliveries and contractors, and plan and prioritise your own workload to ensure operational tasks are completed on time and to the required quality standard.

Qualifications

Essential: High School Certificate.

Desirable: University degree or diploma in any field.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Minimum of one year fulltime work experience.
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural organisation in an international context.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with employees and management to achieve the delivery of high quality and effective professional services.
  • Written and verbal proficiency in English is required, as British Council systems and global processes operate in English.

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in an educational institution.
  • Experience working in a multicultural or international environment.

Important Information

  • Pay band: Grade J
  • Salary: 28,300 - 32,550 CZK depending on skills and experience.
  • Working model: On-site
  • Location: Prague, Czech Republic
