PFB JD for Delivery Manager (Contract to Hire Role)

Position: Delivery Manager Reporting To: BU Head/BU Practice Head

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Performance Testing NFR Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive performance testing strategy and roadmap for various projects and applications.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of performance testers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's effectiveness and growth.
3. Project Management: Plan, schedule, and manage performance testing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
4. Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand performance requirements, objectives, and expectations. Communicate project progress and results effectively.
5. Test Planning: Define performance testing objectives, scope, and success criteria. Develop detailed test plans and test scripts.
6. Test Execution: Oversee the execution of performance tests, including load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing. Analyse test results and identify performance bottlenecks.
7. Performance Tuning: Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues. Recommend and implement optimizations to improve system performance.
8. Tools and Technologies: Stay updated on the latest performance testing tools, methodologies, and best practices. Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to enhance testing processes.
9. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to performance testing processes, test results, and recommendations.
10. Work seamlessly with sales and Presales teams to explore further opportunities with the clients and lead the conversations with COPs when needed.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in performance testing and test management, with a minimum of 7+ years in a leadership role.
• Managed performance testing Project in CI CD environment
• Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling or similar.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, SDLC, and agile practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and virtualization technologies is advantageous.
