Ready to lead high‑impact civil and maintenance projects that keep communities moving? Downer is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager – Projects to champion safe, high‑quality project outcomes across our VRMC Hume network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project delivery using Downer’s PMO framework
• Drive quality, safety and Zero Harm across all project activities
• Oversee planning, budgeting, forecasting and cost control
• Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams
• Manage project risk, schedule, resources and subcontract strategies
• Mentor and support project engineers and delivery teams
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation across project operations

What you’ll bring

• Previous experience delivering civil or maintenance projects
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage end‑to‑end project budgets
• Proven capability in project governance, PMO processes and contract management
• Ability to influence stakeholders and build strong client relationships
• Strong leadership, communication and decision‑making skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and strong understanding of quality & safety systems
