About the role

Step into a pivotal leadership role where you’ll drive the successful delivery of key programs and champion high performance at our Mornington Depot. As an experienced Delivery Manager, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time while leading a capable team and collaborating closely with senior leaders to strengthen relationships, build capability, and achieve outstanding results.

Day to Day

  • Lead and support a capable team, ensuring the right people with the right skills and qualifications are in place to safely and successfully deliver our work.
  • Lead the ongoing performance and development of the Overhead Distribution team, fostering a high-performing culture and addressing challenges proactively.
  • Provide clear leadership and guidance to ensure connection and appointment work is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client expectations and legislative requirements.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the right resources are in place to successfully deliver the full works program.
  • Champion strong field reporting practices, ensuring accurate and timely capture of operational data.
  • Oversee the effective coordination of internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers in line with Zinfra processes and procedures.
  • Ensure work programs are planned and executed efficiently

About You

  • Proven ability to drive a safety culture and implement improved safety processes, systems & programs to ensure the effective delivery of work
  • An understanding of Victorian Electrical Distribution Networks and VESI requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Effective cost centre management within approved budget guidelines. This will also require the sharing of resources for capital projects and the achievement of the CAPEX & OPEX targets
  • Demonstrated competency in utilisation of resources and match the capability and capacity of the workforce and physical resources for the delivery of issued work.
  • Proven experience managing field teams
