Delivery Manager - Energy (OHL)

Main Duties:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of overhead line design, construction, refurbishment, diversion, and maintenance programmes.
• Manage programme budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring effective cost control and commercial management.
• Develop and maintain delivery schedules, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to agreed quality standards.
• Coordinate internal design, engineering, and delivery teams, together with external contractors and suppliers.
• Oversee technical compliance with applicable industry standards and client specifications.
• Monitor programme risks, resource requirements, and delivery performance, implementing mitigation and recovery plans where required.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements, promoting a strong safety culture throughout the business.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, network operators, local authorities, landowners, and key stakeholders.
• Provide regular operational, financial, and programme performance reports to the Delivery Director – Energy.

The person:

• Proven experience delivering overhead line projects and programmes at 11kV, 33kV, and 132kV.
• Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
• Demonstrable expertise in programme delivery, budget control, resource management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Sound understanding of electricity network design, construction, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
