We're now looking for a Delivery Manager to join one of our global Solution Areas. This is a key customer-facing role for someone who enjoys leading complex software deliveries, building trusted customer relationships, and driving operational excellence across cross-functional teams.

As Delivery Manager, you report to the Manager Solution Area and are a member of the Solution Area Leadership Team You are accountable for the end-to-end delivery, performance, and quality of one or more customer deliveries, while contributing to the overall performance and development of the Solution Area.

Your mission

As Delivery Manager, you ensure that customer commitments are fulfilled throughout the entire delivery lifecycle. You balance customer value, operational stability, financial performance, and compliance while coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software and services.

You act as the operational owner of the customer delivery, ensuring alignment between customer expectations, business objectives, and the Solution Area strategy. Working closely with engineering teams, product management, operations, and customer stakeholders, you create transparency, manage risks proactively, and continuously improve delivery performance.

What you'll do

Own customer delivery

  • Be accountable for end-to-end delivery of one or more customer deliveries.

  • Ensure fulfilment of committed deliveries and agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Ensure overall quality, stability, and performance of delivered solutions and services.

  • Act as the primary operational escalation point for the customer.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders.

  • Provide transparent communication on delivery status, risks, and performance.

Lead delivery execution

  • Lead the delivery core team and coordinate cross-functional execution across the delivery lifecycle.

  • Define delivery priorities, roadmaps, and milestones aligned with customer agreements and Solution Area objectives.

  • Sponsor delivery epics and major customer changes.

  • Drive collaboration across engineering, operations, product, and supporting functions.

  • Ensure deliveries follow established governance and Ways of Working.

  • Continuously improve delivery performance and operational efficiency.

Drive commercial and operational performance

  • Manage delivery run-time and one-time costs within agreed targets.

  • Monitor customer change requests, development costs, and time charging.

  • Identify and proactively manage financial risks and cost deviations.

  • Contribute to forecasting and financial transparency.

Manage governance, security and risk

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, and governance requirements.

  • Identify, assess, mitigate, and escalate delivery, security, and compliance risks.

  • Act as Information Owner / Processing Manager where applicable.

  • Support sustainable, secure, and compliant service delivery.

Contribute to Solution Area leadership

  • Contribute as a member of the Solution Area Leadership Team to planning, prioritization, and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate closely with the Manager Solution Area and fellow leaders to strengthen delivery capability, operational excellence, and business performance.

  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and the evolution of ways of working across the Solution Area.

We believe you bring

  • Experience in Delivery Management, Program Management, Project Management, or similar leadership roles.

  • Experience leading complex software or digital service deliveries.

  • Strong understanding of software development and Agile ways of working.

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in an international environment.

  • Strong customer and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience balancing customer satisfaction, operational performance, and business objectives.

  • Experience managing delivery risks, dependencies, and financial follow-up.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

The work location for this role is our office in Gothenburg, Sweden. At WirelessCar we operate in a hybrid setup, combining the benefits of office collaboration with the flexibility of remote work.
