We are looking for a hardworking, intellectually curious individual to play the role of Delivery Manager. The Delivery Manager manages planning of delivery across the development lifecycle for multiple applications. This role requires the management of multiple teams within a scaled agile framework (SAFe) as well as the management of other Delivery Leads.
The ideal candidate shall demonstrate the ability to guide and coach global scrum teams to deliver high quality capabilities to our end customers. The Delivery Manager will support the creation of a high-performance culture within teams promoting continuous improvement, while also supporting self-organization, building domain expertise and cross-functional skills within scrum teams.
Successful candidates will also chip in towards the advancement and improvement of Agile practices and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) standards within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
· Owns and leads planning for multiple scrum teams
· Work closely with Product Owners to ensure backlog items are refined prior to acceptance into an iteration/sprint
· Produce Agile metrics and reports for Delivery Teams and Partners, driving a data-driven culture.
· Mentor and coach team on Agile practices
· Mentor and coach other delivery leads
· Build a culture of continuous improvement and leading team retrospectives.
· Encouraging a fail-fast culture of innovation and professionalism within your delivery team.
· Play an active role in Communities of Practice to pass on knowledge and build expertise.
· Handles risks/dependencies across scrum teams and ensures risk management & mitigation processes are followed within the project by team members.
· Liaises with other teams to gather technical and resource requirements, supporting the Program Manager in resource planning and timing of dependencies
· Conduct progress review reporting on planned deliverables to senior leadership and our clients
· Creates and maintains detailed workstream plans and timelines, tracking delivery against key milestones
· Leads issue resolution, providing options and solutions to the team and raising to delivery leadership when required.
· Manages relationships with our customers as well as a range of senior business, technology and program management partners.
· Understands the roles, needs, and influence of different partners and effectively plan communications to provide appropriate and well-timed updates.
· Establish effective working relationships with key stakeholders, demonstrating understanding of their perspective, proactivity, and their delivery focus.
· Gathers feedback on team performance, identifying issues and suggesting improvements
· Manages planned release cadence for multiple delivery teams
Key Skills
· In-depth understanding of agile software development projects and lifecycle
· Good understanding of cloud-based system environments and release management practices
· Coaching/Mentoring skills focused on the Agile Software Development Methodologies
· Great interpersonal skills and ability to deal with all levels of management & staff.
· Ability to work collaboratively with geographically dispersed cross-functional teams and team members.
· Results focused with ability to work under pressure, to deadlines and without constant supervision.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Electronics or IT related field or equivalent IT related experience.
· Certification in Agile methodologies such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or Scaled Agile Certification.
· Minimum of 10 years’ software delivery experience within an Agile Software Development Lifecycle
· Experience working as a Scrum Master/Team Coach within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) would be advantageous
· Prior knowledge of Agile project management tools, such as Jira and confluence
