This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of project/small program deliverables which requires the engagement of multiple teams. Key responsibilities include communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, facilitating sync points across teams, providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables, and managing program risk and compliance to standards. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.

Responsible for leading and coordinating functional and regression testing for US Wire Technology applications supporting domestic and global wire payment processing. This role serves as a senior testing lead, accountable for ensuring application changes are well‑tested, stable, regulatorily compliant, and ready for production deployment. The role provides direction and oversight for application‑level testing activities, including functional validation, integration within system boundaries, and regression coverage. Working in close partnership with the test coordinator, QA, technology, and business stakeholders, the Test Manager ensures testing efforts are aligned to requirements, delivery timelines, and quality expectations. Drawing on strong wire domain knowledge (ISO 20022, SWIFT MT, Fedwire, CHIPS) and hands‑on testing experience, this position translates business, regulatory, and technical requirements into effective test scenarios and coverage. The role plays a key part in identifying testing risks, validating application behavior and data accuracy, and supporting informed, risk‑based decisions ahead of release. This position is also responsible for test planning, execution tracking, defect management, and clear communication of status, risks, and issues. Through continuous improvement of testing practices and regression coverage, the role helps strengthen overall application quality and delivery predictability across the wire technology landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates, etc.)
  • Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
  • Facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
  • Provides status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
  • Works with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
  • Supports resource planning for delivery and execution
  • Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Wires
  • Strong knowledge of the Wire Transfer process and end-to-end wire payment functionality
    • Including ISO 20022 and MT message formats
  • Ability to translate business, regulatory, and functional requirements into comprehensive test scenarios and conditions
  • Hands-on experience testing complex, integrated systems supporting wire payments
    • Including message validation, field-level mappings, and transformation logic
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber)
    • Ability to assess automation opportunities and ensure automated coverage aligns with test strategy
  • Experience testing APIs, backend services, and data-driven processes
    • Ability to validate request/response payloads, message acknowledgements, and error handling
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Curious problem solver with the ability to investigate complex technical and functional issues
    • Comfortable analyzing logs, message traces, and system behavior to determine root cause
  • Working knowledge of databases and data validation techniques
    • Ability to validate wire data, statuses, lifecycle events, and downstream impacts
  • Self-starter and quick learner requiring limited supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts, risks, and testing outcomes to diverse audiences

  • Ability to prioritize work, drive execution, and hold workstreams accountable to timelines and quality standards
  • Proactively identifies, manages, and escalates delivery risks, dependencies, and impediments, including technical and integration risks
  • Accountable for ensuring testing execution aligns with agreed scope, requirements, test strategy, and enterprise quality standards
  • Provides clear, consistent status, risk, and issue reporting to stakeholders and leadership
  • Owns coordination of functional, integration, and regression testing activities across cross-functional teams to ensure integrated, production-ready delivery

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of dependencies within wire processes, products, and client setups, including:
  • Payment and message processing flows
  • Client products, services, and entitlements related to Wire Transfer
  • Wire database setups, interactions, and lifecycle functionality
  • Experience with wire networks and industry formats, including:
  • Fedwire, CHIPS, SWIFT MT, ISO 20022 / CBPR+
  • SWIFT gpi tracking and acknowledgements
  • Experience with Jira, Octane, Confluence, or similar test and delivery management tools
  • Hands-on experience with ACI Money Transfer System (MTS) or similar payment processing platforms
  • Experience testing regulatory, operational, and reconciliation controls related to wire payments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, environment management, and release processes as they relate to testing and quality assurance
