Delivery Lead Physical AI

The Opportunity

As a Delivery Lead Physical AI, you will manage the planning, execution, and delivery of Physical AI use cases and projects within the global Strategic AI Delivery department. You will coordinate work across use case sponsors, Data, Analytics & AI teams, IT teams, Manufacturing and Technology stakeholders, business unit representatives, external vendors, and partners to support successful project delivery. The role includes developing project plans, defining timelines and milestones, allocating resources, managing statements of work, tracking progress across an AI use case portfolio, addressing project risks, and communicating status updates to stakeholders and senior management. Through the delivery of AI use cases and solutions for Physical AI, you will support the implementation of technologies that contribute to innovation and operational effectiveness across manufacturing, robotics, and automation-related environments.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Physical AI use cases and projects within agreed timelines, scope, and budget.

Collaborate with use case sponsors, business stakeholders, IT teams, and Data, Analytics & AI teams to support execution of projects in scope.

Develop project plans including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation using Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid methodologies.

Drive the creation of statements of work for AI projects and initiatives.

Manage external vendors and partners to support successful solution delivery.

Monitor progress across the AI use case portfolio and address project risks through mitigation activities.

Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.

Provide guidance to multinational project teams and support a collaborative work environment.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Project/Delivery Manager, preferably delivering AI projects in major corporations.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Agile Scrum Master certification is a plus.
  • Domain experience in Manufacturing / Robotics / Automation is a strong plus.
  • Technical knowledge of AI systems and solutions is a plus.
  • 30% national travel expected
