About the Role

We’re looking for a Delivery Lead to join Moonpig on a 13-month fixed-term contract, based in London.

You’ll lead the successful delivery of strategic business, operational and technology initiatives across Moonpig. Working as a trusted partner across our Business, Operations, Product and Technology teams, you’ll bring the structure, governance and leadership needed to turn complex plans into successful outcomes.

You’ll lead multiple initiatives at the same time, helping teams stay aligned, managing risks and dependencies, and making sure delivery decisions balance business value, quality and organisational priorities.

Through clear communication, strong collaboration and continuous improvement, you’ll help us deliver change that improves how we work and creates value for Moonpig and our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent business, operational and technology projects of varying size and complexity
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business, Operations, Product and Technology teams to shape delivery plans and ensure successful execution
  • Facilitate effective decision-making by bringing together the right stakeholders, presenting delivery options and trade-offs, and driving alignment across teams
  • Deliver operational change initiatives that improve business processes, efficiency and ways of working alongside strategic technology programmes
  • Establish and maintain appropriate planning and governance, facilitating working groups and, where appropriate, Steering Committees throughout the project lifecycle
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, aligning priorities, influencing outcomes and ensuring effective communication throughout delivery
  • Identify, manage and communicate project risks, issues, dependencies and delivery trade-offs
  • Produce accurate delivery reporting and portfolio updates, providing transparency of progress, risks and milestones
  • Remove blockers and facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams to enable successful delivery
  • Manage assigned initiatives, adapting plans to changing priorities while providing accurate forecasting and progress information to support portfolio planning.
  • Apply the most appropriate delivery methodology (Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid) based on the needs of each initiative
  • Support organisational change by embedding effective delivery practices and helping teams successfully adopt new ways of working.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve operational processes, delivery practices, governance and team effectiveness
  • Champion Delivery standards, governance and best practices across the wider business

About You

  • Proven experience leading the delivery of multiple complex business and technology projects
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid delivery methodologies, with the ability to apply the most appropriate approach
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation
  • Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation skills, with experience managing multiple competing priorities
  • Experience managing project risks, dependencies, governance and reporting
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to tailor communication for different audiences
  • Experience working closely with Product, Engineering and cross-functional business teams and C Suite stake holders
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and drive collaboration across teams
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana or similar
  • Proven experience delivering both technology and operational/business change initiatives
  • Experience working with operational business functions to improve processes, implement change and deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Experience delivering projects within an eCommerce or digital business
  • Experience delivering both business change and technology transformation initiatives
  • Experience supporting organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience with all parts of a business including the Operations area
