About The Role
As the Delivery Lead you are responsible for the effective project management, client management, personnel management, and profitable delivery and growth of services provided to CASG within the EWIS IWP..
You will ensure high-quality outcomes for this key client through direct project oversight and operate as the primary point of contact for EWIS-Land SPO client delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Management:
- Support the Delivery Manager in leading delivery teams to achieve profitable results in line with established budgets.
- Support the Delivery Manager in managing the delivery of services/outcomes as required by the contract.
- Professional & Personnel management of Nova Staff allocated delivery teams in accordance with Nova policies and procedures
Client Relationship Management:
- Support the Delivery Manager in managing members of the delivery teams (Nova & Subcontractors) in their duties.
- Contribute to the Identification, development, and execution of new and follow-on business from the client.
- Represent Nova in the Client and other forums.
- Maintain a pro-active relationship with clients and other stakeholders.
Project Management and Coordination:
- Coordinate all required reporting across the scope of delivery including finance and risk.
- Implement continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Oracle ERP project management, risk management and budget management.
Line Manager Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining a strong, constructive working relationship with your team, focussed on achieving business outcomes, professional goals, their personal goals and enabling them to work to their full potential.
- Establish a basis for productive work by completing important people management processes including but not limited to hiring new staff, induction, time and attendance management, performance management and recognition of performance.
- Hold quality and authentic conversations providing relevant and timely feedback and focus on the development of our people to build capability.

Essential Requirements
- Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to own and manage the delivery of one or more client projects or workstreams.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, specifically as a people leader with strong influencing and negotiating skills that can be applied to senior stakeholders within Nova Systems, Clients and Industry Partners.
- Strong commercial acumen, with expertise in client relationship management and business development.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools with strong reviewing, proofing and editing skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Australian Citizenship.
- Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) NV1 security clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
- Ability to work on a client site as required.
Desirable requirements:
- Experience delivering within an above the line environment, CASG processes and Defence Capability Life Cycle.
- Advanced skills in commercial management, including contract negotiation and vendor performance oversight.
- Proficiency in project management tools and Defence assurance methodologies.
