Job Description

We are accepting applications for the following position:

DELIVERY DRIVER/ WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

As a member of the warehouse team, this Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant position ensures that the warehouse is organized and clean. This role provides support to the delivery personnel so that deliveries are made on a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key responsibilities and job duties will initially include but not be limited to the following:

  • Process products orders
  • Unload containers and label goods
  • Check best before dates and proper stock rotation for incoming stock and outgoing orders
  • Ensure trucks are loaded and out for delivery on time daily
  • Check, verify and load products
  • Check receipts for proper quantities and item numbers
  • Conduct monthly inventories of products
  • Ensure that all goods are appropriately packaged and labeled before storage
  • Move products storage areas
  • Restock shelves as needed
  • Prepare product deliveries
  • Ensure that outgoing orders are complete and correct
  • Prepare documentation for delivery personnel
  • Identify, track, and resolve order errors, problems, or delays
  • Coordinate with supervisor to ensure proper product storage and inventory levels
  • Keep management informed of area activities and of any significant concerns
  • Identify problems and provide suggestions
  • Ensure that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained
  • Adherence to safety procedures

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Ensure all products received are processed timely and in accordance with schedules
  • Ensure products received are properly checked, moved, and stored. Products are moved to storage areas promptly
  • Orders are processed and delivered as scheduled
  • Reports and records are accurate and timely
  • Establish and maintain good communication, coordination, and working relations with customers, Company personnel and with management
  • Ensure that Management is appropriately informed of area activities and of any significant concerns

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous related experience preferred
  • Organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently

Pay Rate: CI$9.00 per hour

Benefits: In accordance with Cayman Islands law
