
CanDo Laundry Services is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our Telford team.
This is a zero hours, casual role paying £13.25 per hour. The role is Monday to Friday, with weekend availability required when needed.
You will be responsible for completing delivery and collection routes using a Company 3.5T vehicle, loading and unloading laundry and linen, completing daily vehicle checks, maintaining accurate paperwork, and providing a professional service to our customers.
We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of delivery driving experience, a full UK driving licence suitable for 3.5T vehicles, good time management, strong attention to detail, and a positive, safety-conscious approach.
Please note that this is a physically active driving role. In addition to completing delivery and collection routes, you will regularly move clean and soiled linen using wheeled cages and hamper bags. Some customer sites may require cages to be pushed or pulled over a distance, or hamper bags to be carried up and down stairs.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being active, is comfortable with manual handling, and takes pride in delivering a reliable and professional service to customers.
This is an on-site and mobile role based from Telford. Remote work is not available.

Role Purpose
The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently collecting and delivering laundry, linen, and workwear to customers across assigned routes.
The role plays an important part in maintaining reliable customer service, safe transport operations, and smooth communication between customers, transport, and production teams.
This is a physically active role that involves driving, loading, unloading, completing vehicle checks, handling delivery paperwork, and representing the Company professionally at customer sites.
This is a physically active role involving regular manual handling throughout the working day. Drivers will be required to move clean and soiled linen using wheeled cages, which can weigh up to 100kg when full. Cages may need to be pushed or pulled over a distance depending on where the vehicle can safely park at customer sites.
At some locations, hamper bags may be used instead of wheeled cages. These can weigh up to 10kg each and may need to be carried up or down stairs, sometimes with multiple bags required for one delivery or collection.
The successful candidate must be comfortable with the physical demands of the role, able to follow safe manual handling practices, and willing to work across different customer sites where access arrangements may vary.
