Job Description

Boulevard Tire Center is looking for an experienced Delivery Driver in our Orlando, FL location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Must maintain regular attendance and ability to be at work on time each scheduled workday.
2. Transport product to and from locations via company vehicle.
3. Meet delivery schedules and stops as designated.
4. Load and unload truck with tires, mounted or loose, to our customers and/or to our locations in Florida

5.. Ensure the safety of every load, when loading, during transit and when unloading.

1. Maintain the quality of tires, loaded/unloaded/transported.
2. Maintain all driver logs.
3. Maintain appearance of all trucks and/or trailers.
4. Alert Manager of truck maintenance needs.
5. When not driving assist team with various duties as assigned by Manager.
6. Must comply with Company Safety Policies.
7. Keep accurate records of deliveries, ensuring delivered product matches invoice or work order, and including appropriate signatures.

OTHER DUTIES

1. Ability and flexibility to perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILTIES AND QUALIFICIATIONS

1. High School diploma or GED.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of DOT regulations required.
3. Current Class B Commercial Drivers license required, with demonstrated knowledge of air brakes.
4. Clean driving record required.
5. Ability to read, write, speak English required.
6. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and customers as necessitated by the work.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must be willing to undergo and pass a pre-employment drug screen, social security, MVR check, criminal background check and reference check as a condition of employment.
2. Must possess a valid Florida's driver's license
3. Must read and write English.
4. Must be physically and mentally able to safely perform the essential functions without obvious risk of injury to the employee and co-workers.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

1. Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
2. Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
3. Using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes.
4. Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
