JOB TITLE: Delivery Driver
Location: Newport News, VA
Job Type: Full-Time

McCarthy Tire Service is looking for a reliable, safety-minded Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing daily delivery routes safely, efficiently, and professionally—always representing our commitment to excellent customer service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily routes as assigned by the route manager or dispatcher.

• Operate company vehicles safely, following all traffic laws and company procedures.

• Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

• Assist in loading and unloading products as needed.

• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete daily vehicle performance checks.

• Maintain clean and orderly vehicles, reporting any maintenance needs.

• Uphold McCarthy Tire Service policies and safety standards.

• Be comfortable driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

• Be home daily—no overnight routes.

Additional Duties

• Be flexible and ready to take on additional responsibilities as needed. We value team players who are adaptable and solution-oriented.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.

• At least 1 year of delivery driving experience within the last 3 years

• Valid Driver's License

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and DOT physical.

• Able to lift at least 50 lbs regularly.

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Flexible availability is a plus.

Work Authorization

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
