Drives library vehicle to pick up and deliver books, supplies, packages, mail, equipment, furniture, and other materials within the library system's service area and other assigned destinations; performs minor maintenance on library vehicles.
This position will be assigned to the MLS Service Center, which is located at 300 NE 50th St in Oklahoma City, OK  73105, and is classified as safety sensitive.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Education and

Experience:
- High School diploma or GED
- Six months experience driving a box truck (or similar type of vehicle)
Licenses and Certifications:
Required at time of employment:
- Valid State Driver's License
- Current Motor Vehicle Insurance
- Acceptable Driving Record as defined in the Driver Safety Procedures
Required within 60 days following employment:
- OSHA approved Forklift Operator’s Certification
Salary and BenefitsThe hiring salary for this position is $17.35 hourly.  This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week.  This position is classified as non-exempt from the federal Fair Labor Standards Act.  The current need for this position requires that the candidate be available to work the following days: Thursday to Monday from 7:30 to 4:00 pm.*
