ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re seeking a Delivery Driver for the delivery and unloading of finished products, parts, and materials to customer locations. The ideal candidate is highly professional when interacting with customers. We’re looking for someone who has an excellent driving record and has great time management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver and pick up products to vendors, customers, and jobsites throughout the location’s geographic region.
- Complete the corresponding data entry paperwork of deliveries, pickups, and returns.
- Ensure the truck is properly loaded, the load is secured, the truck is in operational condition, and the product is delivered without any damage sustained.
- Read and navigate maps for timely and efficient delivery routes.
- Use proper personal protective equipment.
- Incorporates DCG ONE’s vision and values into day-to-day activities and behaviors.
- Adheres to safety policies and procedures related to all facets of the job.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least one (1) year of delivery and/or professional driving experience.
- Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience.
EDUCATION/LICENCES/CERTIFICATION/FORMAL TRAINING
- Valid driver’s license for State of Maryland; valid Class “A” or Class “B” driver’s license depending upon specific location delivery vehicles and requirements.
- Clean Department of Motor Vehicle record.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- May be required to complete and pass Public Trust Security Clearance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged sitting and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
- May be required to frequently lift up to 70 lbs.

- Flexibility in work hours may be required

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position works on the production floor in a warehouse setting and inside the cab of the delivery vehicle.
- Forty percent (40%) of all work activities are performed inside the cab of a delivery vehicle.
- Additional work activities are performed, preparing loads in the plant and at the delivery location.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.
- The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
- Hearing PPE equipment is required in work areas.
