Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a professional and customer‑focused Delivery/ Handover Specialist to support vehicle delivery and handover processes across our Queensland network.

This role is based at our brand new delivery centre in Moorooka.

You will be responsible for coordinating vehicle readiness while delivering a high‑quality, informative, and engaging handover experience for customers.

Working closely with Sales, Pre‑Delivery, and Dealership teams, you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are delivered on time and customers leave confident and satisfied with their new vehicle.

This position operates on a Tuesday to Saturday roster, supporting peak delivery days and customer availability.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate and schedule vehicle deliveries across BYD dealerships
  • Ensure vehicles are prepared, quality‑checked, and ready for handover
  • Deliver professional and engaging vehicle handovers to customers
  • Educate customers on vehicle features, functionality, and EV technology
  • Liaise with pre‑delivery centres, logistics teams, and dealerships to track vehicle status
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, documentation, and schedules
  • Identify and address any issues impacting delivery timelines or customer readiness
  • Support a consistent, premium customer experience across all handovers

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in delivery coordination, customer service, or automotive administration highly regarded
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to engage with customers and explain technical features clearly
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office
  • Interest in vehicle technology and electric vehicles desirable
  • Current driver’s licence
