Delivery Centre Support Worker

Early Help Service – Education and Children’s Services
Location: Various across Lancashire
Salary: £25,185 – £25,989
Grade: 4

About You…

Organised & Proactive – You’ll ensure our neighbourhood centres run smoothly, supporting families and staff with day-to-day operations.
Customer-Focused – You’ll provide a warm welcome, answer queries, and signpost visitors to the right services.
Safety & Standards – You’ll help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment, ensuring health and safety standards are met.

What You’ll Do…

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors to our neighbourhood centres.
  • Support bookings, appointments, and service user records using IT systems.
  • Assist with maintaining a safe and clean environment, including basic checks and displays.
  • Provide information and signposting to families and service users.
  • Occasionally support group sessions to ensure smooth delivery and appropriate supervision.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with service users and colleagues.
  • Confidence in using IT systems for bookings and record-keeping.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and health and safety.
  • Flexibility to work outside core hours when needed.
