Who are we?

Delicatessen is a tapas bar located at Grünerløkka, Majorstuen and Aker brygge. We have been serving tapas since 1999, and are constantly working on perfecting both our teams and our food.

As a part of our family, you will experience inspiring wine courses, and perhaps be invited on a staff trip to Spain. You will hopefully learn how to balance a tapas tray with finesse, and maybe become an expert on Spanish aperitifs! One thing is certain; you will definitely enjoy plenty of delicious tapas – and if the restaurant does well, you'll see it reflected in your paycheck.

At Delicatessen, you can experience authentic Spanish flavors both on the plate and in the glass, delivered by passionate, playful, personal, professional, and people-oriented waiters. Our atmosphere is informal, and the noise level can be high; just like at a pleasant neighborhood restaurant by the Mediterranean.

Greet guests and provide a warm and friendly welcome

Present and explain our food and drinks in an engaging manner

Create unique and memorable experiences for our guest

Personal qualities

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Ability to handle stress and work well under pressure

Have a strong interest in food and wine

Have a genuine passion for people

Qualifications

Experience as a waiter/waitress is necessary

Strong customer service and communication skills

Fluent in Norwegian and/or English
