DELI SUPERVISOR

PAK’nSAVE Queenstown offers a supportive management structure, a lovely team environment and personal development opportunities.

We are seeking a customer focused individual to join our Fresh Food team on a full-time basis. The applicant should possess ability, ambition and enthusiasm to play an important role within our overall team.

The roster is: Wednesday – Sunday 11.30am – 9.00pm

The ideal candidate will be:

• Someone with previous food handling and preparation experience
• Customer service focused and committed to providing our customers with high quality products
• Experienced in leading a team and assist in ongoing training
• Up to date on Food Safety and Health & Safety standards

Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Being responsible for preparing, packing and presenting products ready for sale
• In conjunction with the Department Manager - plan, organise, lead and control the operations of the deli department ensuring company objectives are met
• Providing a high level of customer service
• Coaching the team and maintaining a great atmosphere for the team to work
• Maintaining stock levels in cabinets and retail spaces and ensuring all products on display are of superior quality
