What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Bakery/Deli Manager the duties and responsibilities include:
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Prepare special orders with an emphasis on the artistic design of trays and platters.
- Create visually appealing and artistically designed deli trays for special events and orders.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and preferences for custom orders.
- Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Housekeeping of department, ensuring it is organized, clean, and provides a safe working environment
- Preparation and merchandising of products
- To be responsible for following standard rotation of products
- Ensure proper storage of all products
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize all equipment and utensils as required
- To follow all cleaning schedules as per standards
- Follow all Food Safety Standards
Qualifications:
- A keen eye for detail and artistic flair in food presentation.
- Creativity and ability to design aesthetically pleasing food displays.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in providing excellent customer service
