Description
The primary purpose of this role is to support the Underwriting and Underwriting Operations functions with enhancing their processes and reporting capabilities through technology, automation, and data analysis principles.
This role will provide support to the Property Team.
Specific Responsibilities
- Perform analysis on individual accounts and overall portfolio to track metrics throughout the year (rate/deductible/risk profile/region etc)
- Work with Exposure Management to peer review output/exposures.
- Assist with data input for Exposure Management, gathering bordereaux from brokers/portals if needed. Help manage workflow to ensure regular updates of all accounts.
- Creating and collaborating with Underwriters to complete pricing tools.
- Manage premium monitoring process - prepare for monthly/quarterly meetings using MI from dashboard.
- Manage Contract Performance monitoring using MI from dashboard.
- Verify bordereaux to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and limitations.
- Create and improve Regional loss scenarios across the Binder portfolio.
- Manage and assist with DU process, collecting all relevant info, answering queries. For lead accounts filling out basic info on forms.
Essential Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or underwriting support role, preferably in the property sector.
- Strong proficiency in data management and analysis, including working with Excel, Power BI, and underwriting software.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to quickly identify and correct errors.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
