Sales Representative – Primary Care & Adult Vaccinology (Castilla y León)

The Primary Care Sales Representative is responsible for generating strong engagement and delivering differentiated value to Healthcare Professionals involved in the prevention of pneumococcal disease in adults, while also maintaining momentum with customers in the Cardiovascular area, by building solid, relevant, and sustainable relationships.

This role is primarily focused on Primary Care (Physicians and Nurses) and, strategically, on Hospital Specialists (Preventive Medicine and Pulmonology), working in an innovative and blended model, adapting interactions to the needs of each account and to the healthcare ecosystem within the territory.

The Sales Representative will play a key role in the identification and activation of vaccination pathways, working closely with multiple stakeholders to accelerate adult vaccination coverage and contribute to protecting a greater number of adults against pneumococcal disease, demonstrating the value of prevention from a population health and public health perspective

This role requires deep knowledge of customers, the regional environment, and the products, as well as strategic, data‑driven territory management, value‑based projects, and strong cross‑functional collaboration.

Key activities and responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales performance and business development of the assigned portfolio ( Adult Pneumococcal Vaccine and CV Portfolio) within the Castilla y León territory.

  • Build strong, high‑value engagement with Primary Care Physicians, Nurses, Preventive Medicine Specialists, and Pulmonologists, tailoring messages to each customer’s profile and role.

  • Identify, activate, and optimize existing vaccination pathways within the Autonomous Community, working with key stakeholders to ensure proper implementation.

  • Actively contribute to accelerating adult vaccination coverage through strategic plans focused on measurable and sustainable outcomes

  • Manage the territory with a high level of autonomy, making data‑driven decisions aligned with Unit and Company strategy, and demonstrating strong entrepreneurial capability

  • Conduct 360° account diagnostics, segmenting customers and defining SMART objectives, KPIs, and clear action plans, with continuous performance tracking.

  • Develop and implement personalized and blended action plans, combining face‑to‑face and digital interactions to maximize impact and engagement.

  • Design and execute value‑added projects beyond the product, particularly in prevention, health education, and optimization of care pathways, with a strong cross‑functional component.

  • Stay up to date on scientific evidence, clinical guidelines, competitive landscape, and adult vaccination and prevention policies

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, beliefs, and behaviors ( Voice of Customer), anticipating market dynamics and proactively speaking up when needed

  • Work closely and collaboratively with internal teams from a One Team mindset (Medical, Market Access, Marketing, etc.) to ensure excellent and aligned execution.

Mandatory requirements:

  • University degree

  • English level B1, with the ability to read and understand scientific literature.

  • Previous experience as a Sales Representative, with particular value placed on experience in Primary Care, Vaccines, Hospital settings, or prevention/cardiovascular areas

  • Clear results orientation, strategic mindset, and continuous improvement attitude.

  • Strong data analysis skills, customer insight generation, and data‑driven decision‑making.

  • Solid commercial and relational skills, with the ability to generate engagement across diverse clinical profiles.

  • Innovative mindset, curiosity, and ability to propose new ideas, with an entrepreneurial approach

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams

  • Collaborative and proactive attitude, with a strong customer focus and commitment to real impact on patient health

  • Residence in Castilla y León or willingness to relocate to the territory.
