Role: DEI Specialist
Assignment Location
APAC – Melbourne based, with opportunities to travel to other states where appropriate to support DEI initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and employee events.
Assignment Duration
3 months in total, with 8 weeks based in Australia.

About the Assignment
This assignment will support the ongoing delivery and evolution of Bupa's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy across Australia, New Zealand & Hong Kong.
Working closely with the DEI team and partnering with Business Unit stakeholders, you will play a key role in driving initiatives that foster an inclusive, equitable, and high-performing workplace. The role will support the design, coordination, communication, and implementation of DEI programs and activities that strengthen representation, inclusion, belonging, and employee engagement across APAC.
As a key member of the Melbourne office, you will contribute to the planning and delivery of DEI events, awareness campaigns, cultural celebrations, employee network initiatives, and learning opportunities. You will also support stakeholder engagement activities and help embed inclusive practices across the organisation.
The role will provide exposure to a broad range of DEI priorities, including gender equity, accessibility, cultural inclusion, LGBTQ+ inclusion, employee resource groups, reconciliation, and inclusive leadership. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders to support delivery against strategic objectives while creating meaningful experiences that enable all employees to thrive.
In addition, this role will contribute to DEI reporting, insights, and governance activities, helping measure progress and communicate outcomes to leadership teams and key stakeholders across the business.
