Citycare Property will soon partner with the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) to provide essential facilities, maintenance, and infrastructure services across camps and bases throughout Aotearoa.
Join us in the role of Defence House Supervisor, Trentham Military Camp to support the environments that enable NZDF personnel to focus on protecting and serving New Zealand communities.
Trentham Military Camp is a tri service NZDF base in Upper Hutt near Wellington, supporting a wide range of training and operational units from the Navy, Army, and Air Force.

What You’ll Be Doing | Ngā Kawenga Takohanga
• Leading and motivating your team of business services assistants, ensuring contract services and obligations are met and align with business strategy and values.
• Ensuring high-quality, safe, and reliable service delivery across Defence House, the Reserve Bank Building, and the Wellington Health Hub.
• Providing day-to-day supervision, work allocation, quality assurance, and stakeholder liaison to ensure cleaning, logistics, minor maintenance, and support services meet contractual, security, and operational requirements.
• Ensuring the team and other relevant stakeholders – including contractors - comply with all safety, quality and environmental management requirements.
• Where projects are undertaken at Defence House, maintaining an understanding of project timelines, dependencies, and resource requirements.
• Reporting on operational matters and contractual delivery as requested.
What We’re Looking For| Ā Mātou e Rapu Ana
• Relevant experience in building services, cleaning, facilities support, or a similar operational environment.
• Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership capability.
• Sound understanding of health and safety requirements in a facilities or cleaning environment.
• Experience coordinating day-to-day operations, work allocation, and service quality.
• Experience working in occupied, security-sensitive, or customer-facing environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Absolute alignment with Citycare Property values.
• The legal right to work in Aotearoa, ability to pass a drug and alcohol test and willingness to consent to a Criminal Record Check
• Ability to meet NZDF specific security requirements
