Your Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Regional Design Manager to lead the design delivery of a portfolio of Estate Works Program (EWP) through the Project Delivery Services (PDS) Contract. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams, ensuring technical quality, managing programme and budget performance, and working closely with project managers and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative leader who thrives in complex project environments and is passionate about delivering safe, compliant and high-quality design solutions.

  • Lead the resourcing, coordination and delivery of design packages across a portfolio of projects.

  • Manage programme, scope, budget and design quality to ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Work closely with project managers, technical teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver compliant solutions.

  • Drive safe design practices and ensure compliance with relevant standards, legislation and client requirements.

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subconsultants to achieve project milestones on time and within budget.

  • Support effective risk, change and document management throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Provide clear, timely and transparent communication on project progress, issues and recommended actions.

  • Contribute to team capability, technical leadership and continuous improvement across the design function.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring strong design management capability, excellent stakeholder engagement skills and a proven ability to lead teams in complex infrastructure or Defence project environments.

  • Demonstrated experience in design management, engineering delivery or multidisciplinary project coordination.

  • Strong understanding of project delivery across scope, programme, budget, quality and risk.

  • Ability to lead and influence diverse technical teams and external partners.

  • Experience working within regulated environments and applying relevant standards and governance requirements.

  • Citizen of Australian and ability to achieve a current baseline security clearance.
