Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Operates the DEERS/RAPIDS site in accordance with all Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) policies, DoD regulations, and installation procedures during established support hours.
- Controls the efficient flow of customer appointments, walk‑ins, DEERS updates, and ID card issuance to meet customer service and regulatory requirements.
- Ensures customer service, accuracy, and timeliness objectives are met while supporting personnel readiness and identity management requirements.
- Facilitates DEERS profile updates, verifies eligibility documentation, and assists customers with enrollment, updates, and dependent record changes.
- Performs Site Security Manager (SSM) functions, including reviewing system audit trails, maintaining the site roster, enforcing workstation security, and ensuring compliance with DMDC security protocols.
- Produces monthly Transaction and Periodic

Summary reports and maintains all required documentation in accordance with DMDC and Army administrative standards.
- Manages customer flow, schedules appointments, and ensures proper verification of identity and eligibility for all DEERS/RAPIDS transactions.
- Ensures all equipment, systems, and workstations remain secure and operational, reporting issues promptly.
- Maintains administrative files and records in accordance with AR 25‑400‑2 and applicable DoD guidance.
- Integrates lessons learned from audits, inspections, and customer feedback to improve site operations.
- Performs additional duties as required to support program requirements.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a Secret clearance.
- Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience in a professional office environment.
- Must complete all DMDC‑required training and become a certified DEERS/RAPIDS operator prior to performing unsupervised duties.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency with office automation tools and administrative processes.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, follow detailed procedures, and comply with all DEERS/RAPIDS security requirements.

Supervisory Responsibilities
- None required for this position.
Security Responsibilities
- Must comply with all DMDC, DoD, and company information security policies and procedures.
- Responsible for safeguarding personal identity information (PII) and ensuring proper classification, handling, and storage of sensitive data.
- Must sign a company non‑disclosure agreement prior to accessing controlled information.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
- Completion of DMDC DEERS/RAPIDS Certification Training required prior to unsupervised operations.
- Additional training may be required based on mission needs.
Reasoning Ability and Mathematical Skills
- Must be able to analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret regulatory guidance and apply it to daily DEERS/RAPIDS operations.
- Must be able to calculate basic figures related to administrative processing.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Work may involve fast‑paced customer service operations, multiple concurrent tasks, and strict timelines.
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods while assisting customers.
- Work environment may include continuous interaction with customers and use of secure computer systems.
