Decorative Concrete Superintendent – Lead Commercial & Industrial Flooring Projects for Business Flooring Specialists-Fort Worth

Job Overview

You will serve as a premier field leader directing complex decorative concrete and high-performance resinous flooring projects across the region. How You Will Make an Impact

• Supervise and coordinate daily site operations for specialty flooring crews, driving field accountability and schedule compliance.
• Direct mechanical surface preparation, including planetary grinding, shot blasting, and scarifying to achieve exact profile tolerances.
• Oversee the technical installation of resinous coatings, polished concrete, self-leveling underlayments, and specialty overlay systems.
• Manage field labor allocation, material consumption, and equipment deployment to maintain project profitability and eliminate downtime.
• Coordinate directly with general contractors and project managers to resolve scheduling conflicts, jobsite conditions, and scope changes.
• Enforce comprehensive OSHA and company safety standards across all active jobsites, including silica-dust controls and daily toolbox talks.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in decorative concrete, polished concrete, and/or specialty resinous flooring.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a field leadership or crew supervision capacity.
• Demonstrated expertise across concrete surface analysis, epoxy systems, self-leveling toppings, and equipment operation.
• Proven ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, project schedules, and submittal packages accurately.
• Valid driver's license with a clean, acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain daily jobsite logs using mobile software.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Active OSHA 30 certification.
• Manufacturer training or credentials across leading resinous flooring, concrete polishing, or moisture mitigation product lines.
• Proven background managing multiple installation crews across active commercial and industrial construction sites.
• Experience performing quantitative concrete moisture testing and evaluating slab failure risks.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
