Embark on a transformative journey as a Senior Analytics Manager - VP, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Barclays UK (BUK) Data & Analytics (DNA) team, your role involves identifying and evaluating commercial opportunities and risks, prioritizing work across the BUK, and leading virtual teams to investigate these issues. Your key responsibilities are expected to drive strategic outcomes that improves profitability, customer experience, or operational efficiency. Your key role is to solve High Impact problems often involving cross functional change. Typical deliverables are building analytical and data science capabilities that drive Strategic roadmaps, Business case development, Target Operating model design. Provide strategic advice to Group Executives to support the decision-making process of business challenges and opportunities. You will also manage stakeholder relationships, communicate complex ideas effectively, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
To be successful as a Senior Analytics Manager - VP, you should have experience with:
Skills/Competencies required: To drive strategic outcomes, combination of core consulting competencies combined with deep commercial awareness of value drivers is required. Expected to navigate complex business problems, have strategic foresight and influence decision making at senior level.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to bring internal business knowledge, external environment, research and analytics together to drive strategic outcomes.
Commercial Awareness: Deep understanding of value drivers across product and services and ability to link customer, operational, and financial levers to drive revenue growth, customer experience and operational efficiency.
Problem Structuring: Ability to break down a complex problem into simple steps and well versed/hands on with techniques like MECE framework, Hypothesis based, 5 WHYs, 80/20, Decision Trees etc.
Technical Knowhow: Ability to use Python, SQL, Excel, Tableau to transform and interpret data.
Data Driven Decision Making: Ability to use analytics, generate insights that drive business outcomes.
Communication & Influence: Ability to craft compelling, data backed strategic narratives for senior stakeholders. Strong PowerPoint & executive presentation skills.
Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder alignment across Business, Tech, Risk, Compliance & other departments. Coordinating cross functional teams and track benefits realization.
People Leadership: Support and develop (head count 10+) team members throughout their development journey, enhancing their capabilities and mindset.
Project Leadership: Define project scopes, deliver through others, plan appropriately, manage stakeholders, and navigate the organization to achieve goals.
Role Model: Exemplify organizational values and standards, contribute to various initiatives, manage performance, and influence others to deliver outstanding results.
