Job Title: Decaler
Shift: Monday- Friday 6:00am- 2:40pm
Pay Rate: $21.50- $25.25
At Wabash, decal installer will do just that, install decals on truck bodies, from the front to rear and large too small. Decal Installers will prep the truck bodies and install the decals to the schematic and customer specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Below are examples of the type of duties you could be responsible for:
· Work independently
· Own and assist in improving our safety, quality, and delivery performance
· Keep your work area organized and free of any potential work hazards
· Read and follow schematics and work orders
· Utilize tape measures and decal installation tools
· Clean and prep truck bodies
· Install decals
· Operate safely through wearing personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses with side shields, respirators, hearing protection, etc.
· Perform additional work as assigned by the Supervisor or Coordinator.
· Complete assigned duties in accordance with safety policies and practices.
Qualifications:
· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
· Basic reading, writing, & verbal skills
· Familiarity with the use of a tape measure and hand/power tools.
Knowledge, Training, Skills and/or Experience:
At Wabash, we give you the training to become comfortable in any Assembler position. Upon receiving an offer letter from us, you’ll undergo orientation and several days of training, preparing you for the production floor. Experience in manufacturing and a high school diploma are desired but not required.
