Reporting to the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Dean of the School of Pharmacy will lead efforts to continue in the school's tradition of innovative teaching, learning, research, scholarship, and patient/client-centered care. The Dean will lead multidisciplinary efforts to cooperate with community organizations and systems delivering direct patient care. The Dean will oversee the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program housed within the School of Pharmacy.

Education and Experience:
The successful candidate will have a PHD or PharmD and prior administrative experience in an academic setting, a demonstrated capacity for leadership, a record of clinical pharmacy practice working with various healthcare professionals, the ability and passion for working with teams of diverse backgrounds and skills, and a commitment to the clinical care of communities of need. At some level and depending on commitments, continued clinical practice is possible. A PharmD, current pharmacy licensure, and board certification is preferred. Candidates are also expected to meet and maintain qualifications set forward by the State Board of Pharmacy.

Hours, Classification, and Status:
This is a Faculty, full-time, benefits-eligible, exempt position.
The regular hours of this position are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Hours may vary due to the needs of the Institute or department.
Salary range: $170,000 - $250,000 annualized. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.

Physical and Mental Requirements
Ability to maintain a good concentration level while dealing with interruptions; attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy; capable of giving, receiving, and analyzing information, formulating work plans, and articulating goals and action plans. Ability to lift and carry short distances up to 20 lbs., for example, to lift or move office supplies, files, books, and packages.
Ability to travel, depending on business needs. Occasionally, will be required to stand for prolonged periods at activities/events on and off-campus.
