A prestigious institution in Dubai is seeking a highly accomplished and visionary Dean for the School of Dentistry to lead academic, clinical, and research initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a distinguished professional with extensive experience in dental education, administration, and research. This role requires strong leadership capabilities to drive the institutions growth, maintain accreditation standards, and enhance the overall quality of dental education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership for the School of Dentistry, ensuring academic excellence and alignment with global standards.
• Oversee curriculum development, faculty recruitment, and student affairs to maintain high-quality education and clinical training.
• Lead accreditation processes and ensure compliance with local and international educational and healthcare regulations.
• Foster collaborations with healthcare institutions, research organizations, and industry partners to enhance educational and clinical opportunities.
• Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and operational efficiency to support the institutions strategic goals.
• Promote faculty development, mentorship programs, and research initiatives within the dental school.
• Ensure state-of-the-art clinical training facilities, integrating the latest advancements in dental education and technology.
• Represent the School of Dentistry at national and international forums, strengthening its reputation in academia and the healthcare sector.
• Drive student engagement, well-being, and professional development to prepare future leaders in the dental field.

Candidate Requirements:

• A Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent degree in Dentistry from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in dental education, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Dean, Associate Dean, Head of Department).
• Proven track record of academic leadership, research excellence, and curriculum development in dentistry.
• Experience managing accreditation processes, regulatory compliance, and institutional development.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making skills to lead faculty, students, and administrative teams effectively.
• Ability to develop and implement innovative programs that enhance clinical training and research in dentistry.
• Familiarity with dental education regulations in Dubai and the UAE is preferred.
• Strong network within the dental, healthcare, and academic sectors to foster collaborations and industry partnerships.
