The South Carolina Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics (GSSM) seeks a General Maintenance Technician. This is a permanent, full-time (12-month position, with benefits provided through the State of South Carolina. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.

The Dean of Students is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the campus life program (residence life and student engagement), which includes approximately 300 students. The Dean of Students is responsible for providing oversight for a comprehensive co-curricular program and training and supporting 7 professional staff members and 12 to 13 paraprofessionals.
A master's degree in counseling, student personnel administration, higher education administration, or related field required with five to seven years of full-time, progressive residence life and student affairs experience with high school or undergraduate students. Background must include residence hall management, developmental programming, staff training, and conduct-related experience. The ability to work with diverse populations and mentor young professionals in residential or student success settings is required.
