YOUR MISSION (The Job Description)

The incumbent in this position is responsible for proficiently dealing multiple table games on a rotational basis, providing prompt, accurate, and courteous dealing service to players in accordance with standard procedures, maintaining the integrity of the game, and explaining aspects of the games to players unfamiliar with game rules.

Qualifications

THE NITTY-GRITTY (The Essential Job Duties)

  • Deal multiple games on a rotational basis, depending on training and acquired proficiency, to meet client demand, protect game integrity, and allow others to obtain game proficiency, as determined by management
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to players, utilizing the highest degree of technical skill in dealing the game while adhering to established standard policies and procedures
  • Explain aspects of the games to gaming guests as requested
  • Process all cash and maintain proper handling and accounting for assigned property items.
  • Maintain familiarity with other gaming and entertainment/service activities to provide information and respond to patrons
  • Maintain an intimate and sound understanding of all standards, policies and procedures, including general policies and procedures of the Games department; and those particular to each game in which the dealer provides service
  • Must be physically present at work, in the assigned workstation, to perform all the functions required of the position
  • Perform other duties as assigned

MUST HAVE'S

  • Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
  • High school or equivalent education required
  • Ability to obtain gaming license
  • Preferred: 2-5 years' experience in a resort casino
  • Manual dexterity
  • Basic knowledge of player rewards programs

WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE'S

  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • Adhere to hotel policies including but not limited to attendance, safety, and behavior
  • Must love people and have the professional skills to greet and engage players
  • Bilingual

THE WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Stand for entire shift. Proper footwear is required
  • Communicate clearly in verbal and written English
  • Bend, squat and stretch in areas of limited space
  • Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of cold, heat, smoke, light (including flashing lights), and sound
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, and maintain physical stamina and mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests and fellow Team Members
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
