Position Purpose
JCB North America is offering a unique, high-impact opportunity for an entrepreneurial leader to build,
scale and ultimately own a new JCB dealership in the Murfreesboro, Tennessee market.
This role is designed for a results-driven individual with strong industry expertise, business acumen, and
a passion for building something from the ground up. The successful candidate will lead all aspects of
dealership startup and operations, including market development, team building, financial performance,
and customer acquisition.

This is not just a leadership role- it is a pathway to full dealership ownership, with potential to expand into
multi-location operations as the business grows.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
Business Development & Market Growth
• Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan to establish and grow JCB’s presence in the Murfreesboro and surrounding markets
• Identify, target, and secure strategic customers, including contractors, fleet operators, and key industry stakeholders
• Build strong relationships within the local construction, rental, and equipment markets
• Drive market share growth through aggressive business development and customer engagement strategies
Dealership Operations & Financial Leadership
• Own full P&L responsibility for the dealership, including sales, service, parts, and operational performance
• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
• Drive profitability by optimizing revenue streams, margins, and operational efficiency
• Monitor and analyze key business metrics, including:
• Sales performance
• Service utilization
• Parts revenue
• Inventory management
Sales & Aftermarket Performance
• Lead and grow revenue across equipment sales, service, and parts operations
• Establish and execute strategies to achieve and exceed:
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
• Service and aftermarket revenue and margin goals
• Build a strong customer-centric culture focused on retention and long-term partnerships
Team Building & Leadership
• Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team across:
• Sales
• Service
• Parts
• Administration and Finance
• Provide strong leadership, coaching, and performance management
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Develop future leaders within the organization to support business growth
Strategic Planning & Growth Expansion
• Identify opportunities to expand the dealership footprint and scale operations to additional locations
• Develop and execute long-term growth strategies aligned with JCB’s North America vision
• Continuously evaluate market conditions, competitive landscape, and customer demand
Customer & Brand Representation
• Serve as the primary face of JCB within the local market
• Build and maintain strong relationships with:
• Customers
• Industry partners
• Community stakeholders
• Ensure a best-in-class customer experience across all touchpoints
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
• 7–10+ years of progressive experience within construction equipment, heavy equipment, or related dealership environments
• Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience overseeing sales, service, and parts operations
• Proven track record of:
• Driving revenue growth
• Managing P&L responsibility
• Building and leading successful teams
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale a business from inception
• Deep understanding of the local market (Murfreesboro / Middle Tennessee region preferred)
• Exceptional business acumen and financial management skills
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Finance, or related field), or equivalent experience
• Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.

Job Conditions
• Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment.
• Subject to noise and temperature changes.
