We have an exciting opportunity for a Dealer Account Manager to join our high-performing team in New Zealand.

In this role, you’ll manage and grow relationships across an assigned portfolio of dealerships, partnering closely with Dealer Principals, Business Managers and Sales Teams to drive retail finance, wholesale funding, fleet and insurance performance.

You’ll act as a trusted advisor to your dealer network, helping dealerships improve performance, identify growth opportunities and strengthen their overall relationship with Nissan Financial Services.

About the Role

As a Dealer Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and growing relationships across an assigned portfolio of dealerships
• Driving retail finance, wholesale funding, fleet, insurance and extended warranty performance
• Supporting dealers to achieve sales, finance penetration and profitability targets
• Coaching and educating dealership teams on our products, programs and systems
• Developing and implementing action plans to improve dealer performance
• Identifying and pursuing opportunities to acquire and grow new dealer accounts
• Providing commercial insights, market intelligence and competitor information to support dealer performance
• Supporting dealerships with wholesale facilities, operating efficiencies and financial performance
• Working closely with internal teams across Credit, Settlements and Sales to resolve dealer and customer matters
• Monitoring dealer performance, wholesale inventory and compliance requirements
• Supporting dealer business planning, financial programs, promotions and product initiatives

The position is an end-to-end dealer relationship role spanning retail, wholesale and fleet, with responsibility for both maintaining existing dealer relationships and identifying opportunities to grow new business.

What You Will Bring

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience in automotive finance, dealer operations, lending, account management or a similar commercial environment
• Builds strong relationships and can confidently influence a broad range of stakeholders
• Is commercially minded, with strong planning, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Can analyse dealer performance and identify opportunities to improve results
• Is confident coaching and educating dealership teams
• Thrives in an autonomous, fast-moving environment
• Has strong communication and stakeholder management capability
• Demonstrates a strong customer and service mindset
• Is comfortable travelling across their assigned dealer territory

Experience within automotive finance, automotive sales and marketing, dealership operations or commercial lending will be highly regarded. Knowledge of consumer and commercial lending products and an understanding of financial statements would also be advantageous.
