We are looking for a Dealer at Associate level to join our Seoul office. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and managing trades across various investment products, handling account administration, preparing trading reports, and supporting the Dealing team. The role also involves monitoring market changes, upholding regulatory standards, coordinating with teams and brokers, and resolving settlement issues efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Execute foreign equities, ETFs, futures, CIS, and manage FX hedges; ensure timely currency exchanges to meet settlement schedules.
  • Assist the Dealing team with fixed income and equity trading as needed, supporting trading operations.
  • Prepare daily and monthly dealing reports for management and clients, providing regular trading activity updates.
  • Manage accounts, including opening and closing, maintaining records, and supporting administrative tasks for seamless team operations.
  • Monitor and review market and trade changes, relay relevant information to the Investment Team for current developments.
  • Uphold and standardize good working practices, ensuring regulatory requirements are consistently met.
  • Maintain awareness of the current market environment and develop a strong understanding of the trading landscape.
  • Coordinate relationships between the Fund Operation Team and brokers for efficient post-execution processing; assist in resolving settlement issues promptly as they arise.

Qualifications

  • University graduate, preferably in Business, Finance or Economics discipline.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in the finance industry. Candidates with equity trading experience are highly preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of the financial services sector and investment products including public equity, ETF, futures, CIS and foreign exchange.
  • Proficiency in Korean at a native level, with strong written and reading communication skills in English preferred.
