We are hiring a Deal and Contract Operations Manager to join our Business Operations team in San Francisco. In this role, you will design and own the end-to-end deal and contracting processes mainly by supporting and training deal owners on contracting workflows, including operational ownership of our contracting tool, acting as the escalation point before deals get stuck, coordinating across internal approver teams such as Legal, Tax, and Finance to keep deals moving forward, and ensuring every signed partner has a smooth onboarding experience by involving the right stakeholders pre- and post-close.
Because you sit at the center of every deal, you will have a unique vantage point to spot what needs to be standardized, automated, or tooled across the deal lifecycle, and coordinate with the rest of the functions under Bizops (i.e. Sales Ops, Order Management, Business Systems etc.) to make it happen. You will use that perspective to build frameworks, drive process automation, and continuously reduce the time it takes to get from contract signing to customer onboarding, ensuring downstream teams like Partner Success, Order Management, and Logistics are engaged at the right time.
Key job responsibilities
A day in the life
You might start your morning checking in on active deals in Contract Central, spotting one that's waiting on Tax approval and flagging to the BD owner how long that step usually takes. By midday, you could be helping a Business Development lead pick the right contract template and approval routing for a non-standard deal, or bringing Partner Success and Order Management in ahead of a signing so onboarding starts smoothly. Afternoons often involve working with Legal, Finance, and Sales Ops to clear a recurring bottleneck, followed by turning what you've seen across deals into a standard workflow or an automation idea. You will regularly train deal owners on contracting best practices and present recommendations to leaders on reducing time from signing to onboarding.
About the team
Our team keeps eero's partner deals and orders moving, from contract signing through delivery. As part of eero Business Operations, we work closely with Business Development, Partner Success, Legal, Finance, Order Management, and Logistics teams to build the processes and tools that help ISPs, Enterprise customers, and retail partners around the world get eero into their customers' homes and businesses. We value ownership, creative problem-solving, and using AI and automation to take manual work off our plates so we can focus on our partners. As we grow into new channels and regions, you will have the opportunity to shape how we scale deal and contract operations.
