Role: Informatica PowerCenter Developer with expertise in production support, data analysis, and coordinating with other teams to resolve issues. Skilled in designing, developing, and testing Informatica mappings and workflows, as well as SQL and PL/SQL analysis, performance tuning, and documenting development and enhancement requirements.
Responsibilities:
Monitor Informatica jobs and analyze and resolve job failures.
Coordinate with downstream teams to resolve data issues.
Work on development and enhancement projects.
Prepare the technical design document for new projects.
Maintain strong knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO) to create work items and support code migrations.
Identify long-running SQL queries and tune them to improve performance.
Fix problematic SQL procedures and document test results.
Coordinate with the DBA team to resolve database-related issues.
Conduct unit and integration testing new developments and enhancements.
Coordinate with the EBS team to analyze the impact on the data warehouse and downstream systems.
Design and develop mappings, workflows, and sessions using Informatica PowerCenter.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
Required Skills:
5 to 6 years of experience with Informatica Power Center10.x, Oracle, and Python.
Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, including query tuning.
Should be able to develop mappings, workflows, and sessions using Informatica PowerCenter.
Expertise in data analysis and data interpretation.
Well-versed in Informatica power center transformations.
Solid knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
Well-versed in code migration procedures.
Ability to understand requirements and identify risks.
Ability to work independently and meet project timelines
Mandatory Skills
Experience in Supporting data warehouse projects
Good oral & written communication skills
Strong analytical skills.
