We’re looking for a dynamic Boat Mate who is safety-focused, service-minded, and ready to create unforgettable experiences on board of the boats from De Palm Tours.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as Boat Mate on board
Serve as bartender and snack provider to guests
Provide snorkeling lessons & guided tours
Deliver engaging entertainment and tour information
Assist with welcome & safety briefings
Ensure guest safety at all times (head counts & in-water supervision)
Perform routine boat maintenance & minor dry dock repairs
Provide First Aid/CPR when necessary
Follow company policies & safety procedures
Key Requirements:
Minimum E.P.B. or equivalent
Kleinvaarbewijs (required)
Green Card (is a plus )
Minimum 2 years of experience on various types of boats
Familiar with water activities and comfortable assisting guests in the water
Speak and write English, Papiamento and Spanish; Dutch is a plus
Required Skills
Excellent swimming skills (including rescue swimming)
First Aid / CPR knowledge
Positive attitude & strong team spirit
Service-oriented & customer-focused
Confident public speaker (welcome & safety speeches)
Able to entertain guests of all ages
