
Within ASML, the D&E Field Factory Engineering team represents the ASML development projects and responsible for New Taipei factory engineering and Asia supplier development by handling the design change, escalation and supplier transfer for ASML business in Asia. This position is a Taiwan local hire and is basedonsiteat theLinkouFactory.
Job Mission
In the D&E Field Factory Engineering team, we have multiple D&E competences to support our factory and Asia suppliers to provide decent design solution or escalation support as local D&E team and ASML DUV D&E hub in Asia.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, your mission is to specify, realize and qualify the design on sub-systems involving robotics, mechatronics, precision mechanics, and/or opto-mechanics.
Work on the factory engineering design issue and transfer TPD(Technical Product Document) to Asia suppliers for manufacturing.
Responsible for the mechanical engineering quality, component EoL(End of Life) request of DUV XT modules.
Support the Manufacturing and Asia suppliers to meet the output , cost and quality requirements.
Geographical:
The function to be filled is in New Taipei campus (ASML Taiwan, New Taipei City)
Closely working with ASML central D&E during the knowledge transfer period and project collaboration is expected.
High flexibility is a must.
Is able to develop design concepts, perform engineering analysis, build and test prototypes, generate detail CAD designs, create engineering drawings, partner with suppliers, and support system integration and test.
Is able to translate customer requests into clear specifications in the mechanical domain.
Is able to communicate with engineers & architects from other disciplines (electrical, mechatronics, physics, optics).
Is responsible for the technical product documentation using 3D modeling(NX) and BOM structures in order to unambiguously explain the design to suppliers.
Deliver the functional specification (EPS), test specification (TPS), design specification (EDS) and qualification document (TAR), TPD and Design-BoM of the Mechanical parts and modules.
Support YS sensor manufacturing in New Taipei Factory and at Asia suppliers with high end troubleshooting capability.
Manage outsourcing of Mechanical related parts/modules.
Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Working Experience:
At least 3-5 years of experience in a system/module mechanical design engineer role.
Personal Skills:
Highly motivated personality with strong ownership and leadership mentality.
Candidate must have strong communicative skills in English with a commitment to achieving results on time.
Willingness to take on responsibility, follow through and keep multiple simultaneous assignments on schedule.
Desire to grow into position of task leadership & project planning.
Is familiar with NX modeling SW and mechanical tolerance analysis, material selection and surface treatment.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
