The DCS Team Lead provides coordination, oversight, and quality assurance for Rapid Response and Crisis Stabilization services delivered to children in the custody of the Department of Child Safety (DCS). This role is responsible for monitoring and reviewing service delivery, ensuring clinical accuracy of stabilization treatment plans and crisis documentation, and supporting both clinical and administrative team members to promote efficient, high quality service outcomes.

Terros Health is now hiring a DCS Team Lead.
Schedule: Full Time - 40 hours per week
Bilingual - Language Differential are also Available!
Preferred - Experience working with diverse populations in behavioral health, including individuals with serious mental illness, co-occurring disorders, and varying levels of care needs.  Experience providing community-based or field-based services.  Familiarity with Motivational Interviewing or other engagement techniques.  Knowledge of local community resources and systems of care.

Position Summary: The Team Lead serves as a liaison with internal leadership and external stakeholders and assumes supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Clinical Manager.
Duties May Include:
- Overseas and coordinates all Integrated Rapid Response (IRR) and Stabilization referrals, collaborating with the Clinical Manager of DCS Outpatient Services and DCS Dispatcher to ensure timely assignments to appropriate team members.
- Monitors caseload activity to ensure team members schedule and complete client visits at the required frequency, in accordance with clinical direction.
- Supports the Clinical Manager with outreach and networking activities to educate referral sources and community partners on available services and to promote referral growth.
- Assists with onboarding, training, and ongoing skill development of team members.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for team‑related inquiries and stakeholder concerns; assumes managerial responsibilities during the Clinical Manager’s absence.
- Performs Quality Management activities, including monthly Stabilization quality assurance reviews and customer service feedback collection from referral sources and placements.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including families, DCS, RBHAs, and community partners, and respond to stakeholder requests in coordination with leadership.
- Conducts IRR assessments and Stabilization appointments during staffing shortages, ensuring compliance with required timelines and clinical standards.
- Engages with foster families and group homes to provide education, support, and recommendations aimed at crisis prevention and placement stability.

QualificationsEducation:
•    High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1.5 years of behavioral health experience, OR
•    Associate’s degree in a related field, OR
•    Bachelor’s degree in a non-behavioral health field with 1 year of behavioral health experience, OR
•    Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health–related field

Experience:
•    A minimum of one year of experience providing direct services to children and families involved in behavioral health, child welfare, crisis response, or related    human services settings.
•    Must have valid Arizona driver’s license, be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience and meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy.
•    Ability to work in both office and community-based settings
•    Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1) or apply for an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card within 7 working days of employment.
•    Must have the ability to perform first aid, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation as necessary and appropriate.
•    Basic computer skills and ability to utilize an electronic health record (EHR)
•    Must pass a TB Test, Drug Screen and Background Check.
