About the Role:
An opportunity exists for a technically capable Data Centre Manager to support the operational reliability and performance of a hyperscale facility in Melbourne. This role centres on infrastructure oversight, compliance, and vendor coordination without line management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure ongoing performance and uptime of MEP systems and facility infrastructure.
Monitor operational KPIs and support reporting and compliance efforts.
Contribute to incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
Coordinate technical input for audits, upgrades, and risk reviews.
Collaborate with service providers and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
Proven experience in critical infrastructure or data centre environments.
Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems at a high level.
Familiarity with ISO, ITIL, or similar operational frameworks.
Strong documentation and stakeholder coordination skills.
Ability to work in high-availability, process-driven environments.
