
This position supports distribution center initiatives, in conjunction with Inventory Control and non-Inventory Control related activities targeted to improve shrinkage, performance and cost savings initiatives. This position will directly impact the organization by partnering with multiple levels of the organization to drive, communicate, and execute million dollar initiatives for Burlington Stores. This position plays a key role in SOX compliance and inventory accuracy.
Research, problem solve, perform root cause analysis, and process financial inventory adjustments impacting inventory for either the East Coast or West Coast Distribution Centers and Warehouses in addition to the Burlington Stores. Must independently provide a strong research skill set and problem solving ability while leveraging the skills and knowledge of other team members across the Supply Chain to accomplish their responsibilities. Experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment is required. Ability to travel to multiple facilities across multiple shifts as needed.
Required to comply with the policies and procedures as defined in SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure). This position will support members of the Supply Chain, including but not limited to, Finance, Buyers, Allocations and Planning, Transportation, DC Operations and Burlington Stores nationwide.
Develops a thorough knowledge of internal department and external operational SOP’s and best practices
• Ensure operational members are accurately following SOPs
• Perform thorough audits and documents investigation methods and issues affecting inventory while performing root cause analysis
• Communicate (written and/or verbal) recommendations and engage theappropriate levelsof management in the Supply Chain toassistwith the escalation of items needing immediate attention.
• Work with IT, POC, DC OPs,Financeand other work groups forassistancein research and problem solving.
• Analyze and report systemic and operational issues to prevent situations that could result in the loss of company assetsin a timely manner
• Plays a key role in projects related to inventory movement and cost savings initiatives
• Ensure all key functions and reports, as assigned, related to inventorytransactionsaremonitoredconsistently, accurately, andtimely
• Cross trainsfrequentlyon operational procedures
• Interacts confidently and accurately with all levels of management
• Completestimelyinventory adjustments as directed
• Audits and conducts operational researchin order toidentifyreceiving errors and reduce shrink
Qualifications:
Education:
BA / BS preferred
Licenses/Certification/Registration:
Ability to become certified on DC equipment as needed
Experience:
• 1+ year Analyst, Inspection, InventoryControlor related distribution center / retail experience preferred
• 1+ year experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System) and sortation system (Dematic) preferred
• Experience in ahigh volumeDistribution environment preferred.
• Computer Proficiency with experience in Microsoft Excel, Work and Outlook

Individual pay decisions will be based on a variety of factors, such as but not limited to, qualifications, education, job-related skills, relevant experience, and geographic location.
Compensation Range: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00
