DC Freezer Associate A

Pay: $23.00–$28.00 per hour

Job Summary

Rosina Food Products is looking for an experienced and dependable DC Freezer Associate A to join our Distribution Center team.

This position plays an important role in our daily warehouse and freezer operations, including shipping and receiving, order selection, inventory accuracy, loading and unloading trailers, and supporting the day-to-day workflow of the department. The Associate A will also help train and guide team members and support department operations when the Supervisor is unavailable.

This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who is ready to take on additional responsibility and continue developing their leadership skills.

What You'll Do

• Review and help plan daily shipping and receiving activities
• Assist with shuttle operations and appointment scheduling
• Select, stage, verify, and label customer orders
• Safely load and unload trailers and complete required documentation
• Complete inbound and outbound postings and ensure transactions are accurate
• Perform cycle counts and research inventory discrepancies
• Ensure accurate product put-away and inventory documentation
• Support Warehouse and Production with daily operational needs
• Help train, guide, and support other associates
• Assist with managing department operations when the Supervisor is off duty
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company, USDA, OSHA, GMP, HACCP, food safety, and PPE requirements
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of warehouse and inventory experience
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a freezer environment
• Forklift certification required; Rosina provides certification in-house

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

This is an active warehouse position. Associates must be able to stand and walk throughout the shift, regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, occasionally move up to 25 pounds, and push/pull up to 100 pounds. The position involves working around moving equipment and in varying temperatures, including cold/freezer conditions.

Compensation

$23.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
