Job Description
We are looking for a talented DBU Europe Strategy Leader to join our team, leading strategy development and execution across our Distribution Business Unit organisation. This role will support aftermarket and segment growth, and drive business transformation, and long-term value creation and profitability across Europe. The position can be based in the UK or Europe and requires semi-regular domestic and international travel.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Define and lead the DBU Europe aftermarket strategy, driving growth, profitability, and long-term business performance.
- Shape and execute strategic plans that support AOP, Strategic Growth Initiatives (SGIs), and 2030 objectives across segments, functions, and regions.
- Partner with segment and regional leaders to align growth priorities and integrate aftermarket and segment strategies to accelerate business performance for DBU Europe.
- Lead high-impact strategic initiatives focused on commercial excellence, operational efficiency, business transformation, and value creation.
- Establish unified strategic direction across DBU Europe, reducing fragmentation and driving consistent execution.
- Collaborate with finance and business leaders to drive performance, governance, and delivery of strategic commitments.
- Represent DBU Europe in cross-functional, cross-regional, and global initiatives, influencing strategic decision-making and alignment.
- Embed digital and AI capabilities into business strategy to unlock productivity, customer value, and competitive advantage.

- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to balance growth, profitability, and investment decisions.
- Exceptional leadership and influencing skills, with experience aligning senior stakeholders across functions, regions, and business units.
- Advanced analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to navigate complex, ambiguous business challenges.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Significant experience in corporate strategy, strategic planning, business transformation, management consulting, or senior business leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success defining and executing business strategy within a complex, matrixed organisation.
- Experience leading large-scale cross-functional and multi-country initiatives with measurable business impact.
- Strong understanding of aftermarket, service, commercial, or industrial business models and their key profitability drivers.
- Knowledge of digital transformation, AI-enabled business strategies, and ERP-based operating environments is highly desirable.
