DBA Architect

Location: Pakistan
Experience: 7 - 10 Years

Responsibilities

• Design, administer, and optimize enterprise database environments.
• Ensure database availability, performance, security, and reliability.
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
• Perform database performance tuning and query optimization.
• Implement database security controls and access management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.
• Support database migration, modernization, and integration initiatives.
• Collaborate with Data Architects, Data Engineers, and Application Teams.

Required Skills

• 7-10 years of Database Administration and Database Architecture experience.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with HA/DR, backup & recovery, replication, and performance tuning.
• Experience in database monitoring, security, and capacity planning.
• Strong SQL and scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Shell Script).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Mandatory Technology Requirement

Candidates must have hands-on experience in at least one of the following:

• Informatica IDMC (Intelligent Data Management Cloud)
• Microsoft Fabric with Purview
• Databricks

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Microsoft, Oracle, Informatica, Azure, or Databricks certifications.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is an added advantage.
