Pay: $16–$18 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Byron Center is seeking a caring and dependable Daycare Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This position is ideal for someone who loves working with young children and wants to be part of a positive, supportive school environment.
Our teachers create meaningful learning experiences through play, exploration, daily routines, and positive relationships while helping children build confidence and independence.
What You'll Do
- Provide attentive care and supervision for young children
- Lead engaging, age-appropriate learning and play activities
- Support children's language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
- Guide children through meals, rest time, outdoor play, toileting, and classroom transitions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership
- Follow Michigan childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous daycare, preschool, or childcare experience preferred
- CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus
- Caring, reliable, and team-oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
