Daycare Teacher
Location: The Learning Experience – South Lyon Township, MI
Pay: $16–$18 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – South Lyon Township is seeking a compassionate Daycare Teacher to provide exceptional care and early education for young children. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a fun, nurturing environment where children can safely explore, learn, and grow through play.

What You'll Do

  • Provide attentive care and supervision for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children

  • Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate learning activities

  • Encourage language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development

  • Support daily routines including meals, naps, toileting, and transitions

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment

  • Build positive relationships with families and coworkers

  • Follow all Michigan childcare licensing and health and safety requirements

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Previous daycare, childcare, or preschool experience preferred

  • CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus

  • Caring, dependable, and energetic

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
